Nine people have been arrested at a notorious Dunedin student street shindig, but police are pretty happy with how it's gone.
Officers say the behaviour at the Hyde Street keg party has been generally good natured and the party has mostly been trouble free.
Inspector Greg Sparrow says only a small minority of people have created issues and there has been no repeat of last year's roof climbing antics.
The nine arrests were for trespass and disorderly behaviour, and include both students and non-students.
A one-way door policy has been in place since 2pm and the party is thinning out and expected to soon finish soon.
