A woman remains shaken following a serious assault in Te Anau yesterday morning.
Police are continuing to investigate the assault they have described as "serious", which happened early yesterday morning at the 'Moose Bar' in Te Anau.
A 27-year-old woman was admitted to Southland Hospital yesterday with multiple stab wounds.
Today, the woman's mother told NZME. News Service her daughter remained in intensive care, where she was being treated for stab wounds.
The woman said her daughter was at the bar for a work function when the assault took place at around 12.30am.
