One day it is there, and one day it is not.
That sums up the daily view of South Wairarapa rural postman Gordon Wyeth, who has seen his share of abandoned coastal baches succumb to erosion and topple into the sea.
The latest bach to go is on the coast road to Ngawi, just past the entrance to the Pinnacles, which Mr Wyeth photographed on Monday.
"It had been hanging over the edge for a while, like the one next door," he told the Times-Age.
"That's the way it goes."
