Following its initial debut at the New York International Auto Show in 2010, the Kia Optima became a catalyst for the brand's tremendous growth and has been the company's best-selling vehicle in the U.S. for three years running.
Last year the Optima was refreshed with a newer look and loads of intergrated features, including LED daytime running lights, touchscreen audio and alloys. That car topped out at $50,990 for the Limited model, with the entry level LX coming in at only $42,490.
This year however, Kia will return to the New York show on April 1st for the world debut of the all-new version of its popular midsize sedan.
Details on specification and pricing aren't yet available, but seeing Kia have been investing heavily in turbocharging their engines we can expect the new Optima to offer a turbo model to headline the 'sports saloon'.
