A stuntman who co-founded a national animal welfare charity says New Zealanders are becoming less accepting of animal abuse.
Craig Dunn set up Paw Justice a decade ago following the death of his friend, Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin.
The organisation is holding its first annual motorbike Ride for Justice today, from Wynyard Quarter in central Auckland, bound for Puhoi Pub north of Orewa.
Dunn said in the decade the charity has been operating, people had become more aware of animal abuse and more vocal about it.
