A New Zealand soldier has died in a non-combat incident in Jordan.
The New Zealand Defence Force said that the unnamed soldier was a national liaison officer at coalition headquarters in the Middle Eastern country.
In a statement, the NZDF said there were no suspicious circumstances related to the death.
The soldier's family had been informed and had asked that the person's name not be released.
The NZDF said it was offering support to the deceased soldier's family.
