Ten singers are to tonight take to the stage at the New Zealand Aria in Rotorua in the hope their performance will win them the top title.
The New Zealand Aria, a premier Australasian singing competition, starts at 7.30pm and is being held at the Civic Theatre at the SirHoward Morrison Performing Arts Centre.
The 10 finalists vying for the tops positions are:

The finalists in the New Zealand Aria category will be judged by Peter Lockwood and Sharolyn Kimmorley AM.
Master of Ceremonies is Helen Medlyn MNZM. Hamish McKeich is the conductor for the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, which each finalist has the opportunity to sing with.
