New Years Eve music festival cancelled

A New Years Eve music festival, Resolution 2006, has been cancelled.

The event was to have been held at a mystery location near Whitianga, and performers were yet to be announced.

Whitianga police said they were surprised the event had been advertised at all, as it had not been approved by the council.
