Audi has launched the Avant version of the A4 in New Zealand.
With a base size of 490 litres, Audi claims it has a larger cargo capacity than immediate competitors.
When the rear seat-backs are folded down, the cargo space rises to 1430l.
The rear backrest is split 40/60, with an optional separate ski bag.
Audi offers a number of options, such as an electro-mechanical tailgate drive and luggage retainer set.
The Avant has represented 50 per cent of past A4 sales.
The range is priced from $71,900 for the 1.8T multitronic.
Models are available with the S line accessory package.
