The Court of Appeal has overturned a conviction against professional kick-boxer Paul Takana Kingi, who was jailed in April for the manslaughter of his uncle.
Kingi was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison after being found guilty of killing Rangiwananga Kingi, 60, in January last year.
In a reserved decision the court ordered a new trial but suppressed other details.
