Auckland Transport is proposing changes that will limit where and how many election signs, as well as their size, can be erected in the lead-up to the general election.
The proposed changes to its Election Signs bylaw were based on feedback and the experience of last year's local elections, Auckland Transport said.
Public submissions open today and close on June 3, and changes were expected to be in place in time for the general election on September 20.
