KEY POINTS:
Vector Energy said this morning that a problem with low voltage in part of Auckland's NOrth Shore was unrelated to last night's blackout.
An electrician on Archers Rd in Hillcrest contacted the Herald saying there was not enough volts coming into his house last night to operate the toaster and problems were continuing this morning.
A spokeswoman for Vector said the problem was being looked into but it was not a result of the transformer explosion which left about 30,000 homes without power on the North Shore last night.
