A New Plymouth school was evacuated due to a fire in the library this afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the blaze at Devon Intermediate on Devon St West shortly after 2pm.
Five appliances attended and were still working to extinguish the fire, a Fire Service spokesman said.
The school was evacuated and no-one was injured.
