New 3D fly-through footage of the Kaikoura coastline is being used to assess key areas of damage.
The New Zealand Transport Agency posted the footage online, which uses 3D technology to show the main areas of damage along the Kaikoura Coast from Oaro, south of the town, to the Clarence on the north side.
The seabed changes can also be seen in the video.
Earlier Land Information New Zealand released detailed satellite imagery showing the impact of the quake.
The aerial photography shows the shift in land off the coast of Kaikoura.
