Lindsay McKenzie has been appointed national president of YMCA New Zealand, replacing retiring president Peter Waterhouse.
Mr McKenzie, who is currently general manager of Invercargill-based Environment Southland, has been associated with the YMCA for more than 40 years.
"I am proud of my long association with the YMCA, which this year celebrates 150 years of continuous support to New Zealand communities," he said.
