Recyclable carpet, low energy lighting and tiles made of recycled plastic bottles and inspired by the Southern Alps are some of the sustainable design features in Air New Zealand's upgraded Christchurch Koru lounge.
The domestic Koru lounge at Christchurch Airport reopened today.
As well as sustainable features it also seats about double the previous number of customers and has views of the runway and Southern Alps through floor to ceiling windows.
