Subaru's fourth-generation All-Wheel-Drive Forester has gone on sale in Japan with an impressive list of new features that build on its long-established reputation for value, safety, great engineering and fun driving.
Due to debut in New Zealand early in 2013, the new Forester's features include a revised four-wheel-drive system - X-Mode - on auto models, offering confidence and control on difficult terrain, for even better rough-road performance.
Auto Stop Start, a major contributor to improved fuel economy, will be fitted to all normally aspirated petrol Foresters.
Subaru's award-winning EyeSight driver-assist safety technology will be offered on top models. SI-Drive, which matches performance to driving style, will also be available on some models, offering three different driving modes for better fuel consumption and performance.
