New early childhood centres to be built

Three new early childhood education centres are to be built in Manukau, Education Minister Anne Tolley announced today.

They were the first to be funded through the Education Ministry's Counties Manukau Participation Project, which targeted areas with low early childhood education participation.

The centres would be at Mansell Senior School in Papakura, and Weymouth Primary and Homai Primary in Manurewa.
