The daughter of two Wellington defence lawyers has pleaded not guilty to drink driving causing injury.
Sophia Cara Ord Nisbet was remanded until a status hearing next year when she appeared before a registrar in Wellington District Court this morning.
Sophia, 18, had earlier been charged with driving with excess breath alcohol. Another charge of driving with excess breath alcohol causing injury was added today, which she pleaded not guilty to.
The charge relates to an incident when an 18-year-old student was hit by a car and seriously injured when he walked home from a private party.
Sophia is the daughter of lawyers Letizea Ord and Val Nisbet.
