Policy analyst and consultant Jan Wright has been selected to be the next Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment.
Parliamentary Speaker Margaret Wilson says a motion endorsing Dr Wright's appointment will be put before the House this week.
Dr Wright is chairwoman of Land Transport New Zealand and a director of ACC and Transit New Zealand.
