Tauranga-born hockey star Gemma Flynn gave a nod to her Bay roots today as she and her new husband Richie McCaw stepped out together for the first time as a married couple.
The new Mrs McCaw posted a photo on Instagram of her wearing Camilla minidress Love Weave from Mount Maunganui boutique Sisters and Co.
Rodelle Payne, owner of Sisters and Co, said Gemma was a long-time, loyal customer of the shop and she had asked Gemma to be a brand ambassador for the store given her profile as an elite hockey player.
Ms Payne had chosen a wardrobe for Gemma last year and the playsuit was one of the items.
