The aggravated burglary of an elderly woman in Papatoetoe last month remains unsolved, leading to a renewed appeal for information by Auckland police.
They want more information about the January 8 burglary, and are hoping to speak to anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour in and around the Huia Rd, Stonex Rd and Bernard St areas between 1pm and 4pm that day.
They are particularly interested in any sightings or knowledge of the gold bangles and the distinctive pendant taken off the victim during the assault.
The incident was recently featured on the Police Ten 7 show, and police believe that the person responsible for the attack would have told someone about it, Detective Sergeant Tom Gollan said.
"There is someone out there who knows who has done this. We urge anyone with information on the crime or on the whereabouts of the jewellery or coins to come forward as soon as possible."
