KEY POINTS:
The long vacant seat of chairman at ACC could be filled by union boss Ross Wilson when he steps down as president of the Council of Trade Unions in October.
Rumours are circulating that Mr Wilson has already been lined up for the position by ACC Minister Ruth Dyson, who will take a recommendation to the Cabinet on who she thinks should fill the role.
Ms Dyson's office would not confirm or deny Mr Wilson's involvement.
