The three district councils are officially launching their bid for additional government funding to extend the Wairarapa broadband and mobile network.
The WAIConnect launch will be held at the Carterton Events Centre tomorrow at 6.30pm, with community groups, businesses and other interested parties invited to attend.
Input from the community will help the project team complete a digital enablement plan, which forms part of the bid process and must be completed by September 18.
