The Battle of the Colleges will take centre stage when matches in Netball Wairarapa's premier one competition resume tonight and tomorrow.
St Matthew's Collegiate will play Wairarapa College at the Colombo road courts tomorrow and it will be St Matthew's who will start firm favourites.
They sit second behind Harcourts on the points table while Wairarapa College, the defending champions, are back in fourth equal position.
The first round clash between the two colleges was a surprisingly one-sided affair with St Matthew's dominating from the word go and winning by an impressive 60-32.
Through the likes of Ella Biggs, Rosie Broughton, Pip Lynch, Sophie Ross, Jesse Smith, Ashley McDougall and Harriet Somerville they have strength right through the court and they should be too slick for a Wairarapa College side which will be spearheaded by Wairarapa under-17 captain Abby Hull and Lisa Morriss.
Harcourts have yet to taste to defeat this season and have scored more than 400 goals in their seven games.
They should chalk up another easy win when they meet Salute Greytown at the Colombo road courts tomorrow while Hiona should have the edge on the improving Kuranui College side.
Two premier one games will be played at the Genesis Recreation Centre in Masterton tonight and Kuranui College and Hiona will feature there as well.
The students will probably struggle to cope with the experience of Carterton Red in the 6pm game and the same could be said for Hiona in their 7.30pm clash with Gladstone All Blacks.
