Police are seeking a 26-year-old man with grave concerns for his safety.
Nelson police would like to speak to anyone who knows where Motueka man Cyrus James Harrington is.
Harrington left his home in Brooklyn, near Motueka, on Tuesday morning. He is 180cm tall and of thin build.
A police spokesperson said Harrington may be in possession of a knife and should not be approached.
"Police ask Harrington, or anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts, to make contact with police."
