Nelson pitbull-staffordshire cross put down

A pitbull-staffordshire cross which attacked a Nelson woman in central Motueka has been put down.

A 16-year-old looking after the dog when it escaped from Motueka Backpackers' yard on Sunday, was fined $200 by Nelson Dog Control Services and ordered to pay the victim's costs.
