Navy frigate Te Mana arrives home

The Navy's frigate Te Mana returns home today after nearly six months overseas.

Family and friends were expected to turn out in big numbers to welcome the ship back to Devonport at 10am.

Commander Wilson Trumper said it was a dramatic feeling for everyone onboard, particularly for younger crew members on their first overseas deployment.

Te Mana has been to Australia, Singapore, India and Sri Lanka.
