The partner of Napier gunman Jan Molenaar has been remanded without plea for two weeks after a brief appearance on cannabis charges.
Delwyn Ismalia Keefe, now 44, appeared in Napier District Court on Thursday.
Police had earlier said an unnamed person would be appearing in court this Wednesday.
Defence counsel Jonathan Krebs made no application for name suppression, police did not oppose bail, and Keefe was remanded by Judge Tony Adeane until June 3, Hawke's Bay Today reported.
Police allege Keefe had been involved in selling cannabis over the last four-and-half years, and offered to sell it the day Molenaar shot and killed Senior Constable Len Snee and wounded two other officers and a neighbour during a search at his home in Chaucer Road, Napier.
Police have previously said two cannabis plants were found in a spare room and 8-10 "ounce" bags of cannabis were located in a garage during searches after Molenaar was found dead from self-inflicted shot to the head on May 9.
His death ended a siege which shut-down dozens of streets in Napier for about 51 hours. The searches also revealed 18 loaded firearms.
