Terms and Conditions

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.

2. Entry is free and open to residents of New Zealand aged seven years or older. Employees of the Promoters, the Promoters' associated companies, the Promoters' agencies and partners associated with this promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.

3. The Promoters reserve the right to withdraw this promotion or any part of this promotion should their ability to fulfill due obligations be limited at any stage by any form of technical failure.

4. To enter the promotion, entrants must provide their full name, current and valid email address, and phone number ("Eligible Entrants").

5. Entries must be received by the Promoters during the Promotional Period. The Promoters accept no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.

6. Promotion commences at 8:30am on Monday 10 March, 2014 and will finish at 8:30am on Friday 4 April, 2014 ("Promotional Period").

7. The Auckland Zoo will be sent all valid entries to then decide which names will be used to officially name the Red Pandas.

8. The Auckland Zoo may decide to use a full suggestion of both names submitted by one entrant, or they may combine two names from separate entries.

9. If the winning name is chosen by more than one person, the final prize winner will be decided by a draw.

10. The Auckland Zoo's decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

11. The winner/s will be notified by telephone or email. Inability to contact the winners by close of business of the prize draw will result in the prize being forfeited.

12. There are two (2) prizes of a behind-the-scenes experience with the Red Panda ("Prize"). The two prizes will be used only in the event of two winners being chosen.

13. The minimum age for this experience is seven years and if one of the participants is under 15, the second participant must be an adult.

14. The behind the scenes experience is subject to The Auckland Zoo's standard terms and conditions.

15. The Prize must be taken as offered and is not exchangeable, transferable, saleable or redeemable for cash.

16. By ticking the optional box "I am happy for APN (publishers of NZ Herald) to email me information and promotions that may be of interest", entrants acknowledge that they are agreeing to receive future emailed communications from the Promoters. Entrants' personal information will be stored on a database by the Promoters. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoters at the addresses set out below.
