A High Court judge has agreed that name suppression should be lifted for a high-profile man in the finance sector who is facing charges over an alleged hit-and-run after an incident outside a bar on Mt Eden Rd, Auckland, on September 8.
Justice Geoffrey Venning yesterday upheld Auckland District Court Judge Greg Davis' decision to lift name suppression but ordered that the man's name cannot be made public until next week.
