N-test battle ends

A five-year legal battle by a Navy veteran against the Government for suffering as a result of nuclear testing in the 1950s has ended.

Trevor Humphrey, of Wanganui, said that a telephone conference involving all parties had ended with the case being discontinued. The Crown has agreed not to seek costs.
