KEY POINTS:
Mystery surrounds the death of a Christchurch mother and bodybuilder whose body was found in a suburban reserve -- but police have ruled out foul play.
Jayne Carol Shadbolt-Thin went missing from her home last Tuesday.
Her body was found just off a track in Dean's Bush, Riccarton, about 3pm yesterday. It was less than 100 metres away from where her phone was found on Saturday night.
Ms Shadbolt-Thin's husband, Warren Thin, told The Press his wife worked from home as a personal trainer and he last saw her about 3.30pm on Tuesday.
She had been battling alcoholism for about six years and he thought she had gone "on a bender".
She was never gone for more then 24 hours and would always tell her clients or her 16-year-old daughter, who lived with the couple.
Detective Inspector Malcolm Johnston said police were not treating the death as suspicious.
"There are no suggestions of foul play," he said.
A post mortem would determine the cause of death.
