Six Muscovy ducks spent two months on the SPCA farm near Auckland after an inspector saved them when it was discovered they were not being kept in ideal living conditions.
Louise Broadbent adopted the gang of Twilight, Twinkie, Toffee, Pineapple, Pear and Peach to live with her family where they have a large pond for them to enjoy.
"The first time they went in was hilarious," she says.
"There was a lot of splashing, diving and waddling in and out repeatedly. I was laughing so much I forgot to take photos."
