Auckland's Sky Tower has tonight lit up in the colours of the French flag to show solidarity with Paris in the wake of today's terrorist attacks.
It's joined a host of iconic buildings around the world to be illuminated in blue, white and red.
SkyCity chief executive Nigel Morrison said he was "appalled by the atrocities" that occurred in Paris and the gesture was a mark of sympathy and respect for the French people.
"I'm sure all of Auckland and New Zealand stands beside France tonight. Lighting the Sky Tower in the colours of the tricolore is one small way to show we care," Mr Morrison
said.
