A 41-year-old Nelson man was charged with murder and three Dannevirke men aged 29, 35, and 45 were charged with being party to a murder in relation to the death of a man in Pahiatua last month.
Four men were arrested and charged yesterday in relation to the death of Pahiatua man James Whatuira.
Mr Whatuira was found dead at a house in Ormond St, Woodville, on January 4.
Police said he was killed with a single gunshot.

Police said the investigation was ongoing and they still wished to speak to anyone who may have any information about Mr Whatuira's death.
