A woman accused of a stabbing spree in a Wellington suburb last month has been charged with murder.
Hudson Garratt, 67, died and four others were wounded in the attack at a Broderick Rd house, in Johnsonville, just over two weeks ago.
The woman's presence was excused at a Wellington District Court hearing this morning, where she was granted continued name suppression.
She was initially charged with four counts of assault with a weapon, but the murder charge and three counts of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm have been added.
The 25-year-old woman is yet to enter a plea, and will next appear at the High Court in Wellington in a fortnight.
