Murder accused reappears

A 34-year-old man accused of a murder in south Auckland in February has made another appearance in court.

Salofa Aiono appeared in Manukau District Court today charged with the murder of 36-year-old Sanele Sanato on February 25 in Manurewa.

Mr Sanato, an unemployed man from the Auckland suburb of Glen Innes, was also known as Kapellelu Motunuu.

Aiono will reappear in Manukau District Court for a pre-depositions hearing on May 13.
