The man accused of murdering musician Javed Mills has appeared in court today.
Last month Mt Wellington man James Grant Cooper, 24 was charged with murdering Mr Mills between July 23 and 29 in 2009. He is also charged with covering up Mr Mills' death.
Cooper appeared in the Auckland District Court via an audio visual link from Auckland Central Remand Prison.
He was further remanded in custody until his next court appearance in August.
