A 31-year-old man charged with the murder of his flatmate in downtown Auckland in October has been committed for trial.
Farasad Razani, 30, was found dead on October 25 in an apartment at The Quadrant apartment block in Waterloo Quadrant.
The accused, who has name suppression, appeared in Auckland District Court today via videolink from Mt Eden Prison.
He was remanded in custody to reappear in the High Court at Auckland on February 23 for his first call-over.
Police and ambulance were called to the apartment about 7.15am on October 25 and found the dead man.
