A 14-year-old is one of four young people charged with the murder of Thomas Martin who died in hospital last week after being beaten and left lying in an Auckland park.
The four teenagers, aged 14, 17, 18 and 19, were initially charged with common assault but when they appeared in the Auckland Youth Court yesterday they faced a new charge of murder.
