A book series being dubbed as "mummy porn" around the world has been named in the top five of our 100 most favoured books list this year.
The Fifty Shades trilogy by E.L James has come in at number five on the Whitcoulls Top 100 list of 2012-13, released today after 20,000 reader votes from around the country.
Number one on the list is crime series the Millennium trilogy by Stieg Larsson.
Its popularity has seen the first two titles, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Played with Fire, being adapted into hugely successful films.
The Fifty Shades trilogy - which includes titles Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed - delves into the world of erotica and includes explicit descriptions of sex and erotic love between characters Ana and Christian.
