Florence Prosser walks her two sons, aged 6 and 8, to Cornwall Park District School in Auckland's Greenlane and says bus drivers are "damn unruly".
She said the intersection of Wheturangi Rd and Greenlane Rd West was a "shocker" - and "notorious" for cars and buses speeding.
Her husband, a cyclist, was almost run over by a bus, she said. "The bus cut in front of him and the guy was oblivious."
She said timetables may have something to do with speeding.
"Obviously they have got to stick to a timeframe - to the point of endangering other drivers, pedestrians and cyclists."
