Former All Black Mils Muliaina has been in New Zealand while South Wales Police investigate allegations of sexual assault against him.
It is understood Muliaina flies out of Auckland today for the UK after being bailed two months ago. He is due to meet South Wales Police on Wednesday.
The incident allegedly occurred in early March while Muliaina and teammates from the Irish club Connacht were on a night out in the Welsh capital of Cardiff.
The 2011 Rugby World Cup winner was arrested shortly after his side's loss to English club Gloucester in the Challenge Cup on April 4.
Muliaina denies any wrong-doing and was released on police bail after agreeing to return to Wales by July 1 to continue to assist Welsh authorities with their investigation.
