Two more coconut milk products have been recalled for containing dairy traces that could affect people with milk allergies or intolerance.
The Ministry for Primary Industries on September 23 issued a warning about a number of imported coconut milk products that did not include proper allergen warnings.
Today, the ministry extended the recall, for a second time, to include:
• Wahaha brand Coconut Juice, 245g can, manufactured in China.
• Sasaya brand Coconut Drink, 335ml can, manufactured in Taiwan.
The ministry's compliance operations manager Gary Orr said the products were stocked in retailers such as dairies, ethic food stores and specialist sports stores.
