KEY POINTS:
Mangere MP Phillip Field met with the police late yesterday as part of the ongoing investigation into allegations of corruption.
A police spokesman said it was not the first time Mr Field has met with police and it would not be the last.
He said the interview process is not yet complete and it could be some time before the investigation is at an end.
Mr Field is expected to return to Parliament either tomorrow or Thursday.
He has been on leave for six months and was last week expelled from the Labour caucus.
