KEY POINTS:
New Zealand First MP Dail Jones has effectively been dumped by his party.
Mr Jones has been ranked at number 14 on the party's list rankings, which were released this afternoon by the Chief Electoral Office.
He only entered Parliament at the beginning of the year, to replace the late Brian Donnelly.
New Zealand First has been performing poorly in the polls. Even if it makes the MMP threshold, Mr Jones appears highly unlikely to get back into Parliament.
The remaining six New Zealand First MPs all fill the top six spots on their party's list.
