Gen-i, Telecom's ICT business, has appointmented David Hughes as the company's software solutions Auckland regional manager. Hughes has previously worked as the head of systems at Tower New Zealand - managing teams of project, applications support and development staff - as well as working at Clear Communications and with IBM.

Jen Ferguson has joined PR consultancy Pead PR as an account manager. She returns to New Zealand after five years in Britain where she was deputy production editor for the Sunday Mirror's celebrity magazine. Ferguson is a former George FM breakfast host will be working on the Xbox brand.
