APN Publishing recently announced the appointment of Laura Franklin as editor of The Bay of Plenty Times. Franklin is currently editor of APN's Northland daily newspaper, The Northern Advocate. She will take up her the position on May 5. Franklin had wide experience from working on five regional daily and community newspapers, as a reporter, sub-editor and editor.
Bridget Ross has been promoted to Associate in Kensington Swans advocacy team. Ross specialises in public law and commercial litigation.
Edge International Ltd has appointed Aaron Ogilvie as GM for its domestic and international activities for the brands Sens-a-BRAKE and SAB Trailers. Previously Ogilvie was New Zealand sales executive for the SOE Mighty River Power / Mercury Energy.

She brings specialist knowledge of information technology, winemaking and viticulture, education, local government and business to her role, and has more than 16 years as a journalist, editor and public relations practitioner.
