KEY POINTS:
Osmond Borthwick has been appointed director of the Commerce Commission's telecommunications branch. Borthwick was previously the manager of the Commerce Commissions Network Access Group.
Executive Taskforce has appointed John Buchanan as general manager, contracting. Buchanan will concentrate on accounting, finance, HR and project management roles. Tempforce-Workforce, a division of Executive Taskforce Group, has appointed Sue Moore as a permanent consultant. Moore has an extensive background in recruitment and previously managed a division with Lampens before taking time off to have children.
Juliet Moses, who has been with Taylor Grant Tesiram for four years, has been appointed a partner of the firm. Moses specialises in superannuation, trust law and asset planning.
Bell Gully appointed three senior associates. Sally Fitzgerald joins Bell Gully in Auckland after spending four years as a senior associate with Mallesons Stephen Jaques in Sydney and Melbourne. She also spent eight years in London, working at Clifford Chance and Debevoise & Plimpton. Maria Berryman joins the Wellington litigation team specialising in employment law. Previously Berryman practised law for three years at another large New Zealand law firm and worked in San Francisco with construction attorneys Wolkin & Timpane, LLP. David Chapman-Smith joins the Auckland corporate and commercial team after returning from six years at Ashurst in London.
